In a pot experiment using 15 grassland species with contrasted resources acquisition strategy, we tried (using 15N and 13C labelling) to assess the relative importance of litter and rhizodeposits and litter for soil food webs, and explored how plant economics strategies affected soil food web. I will present our results, as well as the challenges of including microbes as consumers in soil food web energetics.
